CRENNELL, Douglas Joseph, passed away peacefully, surrounded by close family on Thursday 14th May 2026 at the ripe old age of 98.

Doug, a loving husband to Pat for over 66 years, was a devoted and very proud father of Colin, Gill, Nige and Jen, and father-in-law to Debs and Kate. He was a much-loved grandad and great-grandad to his family both on and off the Island.

Doug’s funeral will be held at Douglas Crematorium Chapel on Tuesday 9th June 2026 at 10:45am. Those attending are encouraged to wear vibrant attire to celebrate Doug’s life.

The family would like to express sincere thanks to all the staff at Salisbury Street Nursing Home for their care, kindness and sensitivity in looking after Doug in his final months.
