Peacefully at home, surrounded by the love of her family, on Wednesday 27th May 2026, Christine “Chris” Wallis, aged 78 years, passed away after a courageous journey.

A devoted wife to Peter, cherished mother to Steven and Andrew. Chris touched the lives of many through her kindness, warmth, strength, and unwavering love for her family and friends. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew her.

Steven and Peter would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to everyone who supported Chris throughout her illness. In particular, special thanks are extended to the wonderful carers and staff at 1st Care at Home, whose compassion, dedication, kindness, and professional care enabled Chris to remain in the comfort and dignity of her own home. Their support brought great comfort not only to Chris but also to her family during an incredibly difficult time.

The family would also like to thank friends, neighbours, healthcare professionals, and all those who offered their help, support, visits, cards, and kind words over the years. Your kindness has been deeply appreciated.

A funeral service to celebrate Chris's life will take place on Wednesday 17th June 2026 at 10.00am at Douglas Borough Crematorium.

Family flowers only, please. Donations in memory of Chris may be made to Cross Roads and Hospice Isle of Man.
