On Thursday 17th July 2025, Michael aged 60 passed away. Husband to Jacqueline and father to Holly and James, we will love and miss him forever. A prominent member of the IOM Business Community, highly respected as the Chief Executive at Chamber of Commerce and Area Manager of HSBC. Mike was proud to be named IOM Awards for Excellence Businessman of the Year in 2011. A lifelong Sunderland AFC fan who adored going to matches with his daughter. Mike will be dearly missed by his family and friends. Funeral service at 9.30am Wednesday 6th August at St. Mary’s Church, Douglas, followed by cremation. No dress code, wearing red, white, or black to reflect Mike’s love for SAFC would be welcomed by the family. Donations in lieu of flowers to the Fire Fighters’ Charity www.firefighterscharity.co.uk.
