CALLISTER, Barry ‘Michael’

Barry “Michael” Callister 02/09/1945 – 29/04/2021. Barry Callister aged 75 from Douglas, passed away on the 29th April 2021 at Nobel’s hospital following an unexpected short illness. Barry was well known on the island for his excellence in golfing, table tennis achievements and his profession as a tiler. In his later years he loved playing and teaching the ukulele and was an avid fan of George Formby. Barry is survived by his children, Tracey and Amanda, his brother John, sister Norma, cousin Carol, nephews and nieces and not forgetting his beloved budgies Sky and Casper. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends and all who knew him. A funeral service will be held at Kirk Michael Parish Church on Wednesday 2nd June at 12 noon followed by a cremation service in Douglas Crematorium at 1.15pm. Light refreshments will be served at the Manx Legion, Market Hill, Douglas, at 2pm.
