DAVIES, John

On Saturday 5th September 2026, John, of Strathallan Park, Onchan, aged 82 years, passed away peacefully at Elder Grange Nursing Home, after a long illness, very bravely borne. Adored husband of Averil for 61 years, beloved dad to Rebecca and Adam, father-in-law to Vilma and treasured Poppie to Charlie, Noah and Oscar. A wonderful brother to his five late siblings, a much loved uncle and great friend to so many. The funeral service and celebration of John’s life will take place at 12 Noon on Monday 21st September, at St Ninians Church, Douglas, followed by a private committal. Please dress as you wish, John’s favourite colours were blue and yellow. Donations in lieu of flowers, if so desired, may be sent to Forget Me Not, the Rotary Club of Douglas or St Ninian’s Church.
